10. Summary of malfunctions

Switch off all poles of the supply voltage without fail
before removing the terminal box cover and always
before dismantling the pump.
The electronics can still be live for up to 10 minutes
after switching off the power supply!
See Section 7.5
Cause
A fuse
in the electrical installation
is defective.
The fault current safety switch
or fault voltage safety switch
has tripped.
The pump is defective.
The pump has been
shut down in one
of the following ways:
1. Via the key
2. Via the R100
3. Through the turning
of the external
ON/OFF switch*
4. Via the bus signal*
* The malfunction can be temporarily repaired by adjusting the operating
setting to «MAX Characteristic Curve» on the pump control panel
or via the R100 unit, as in this case the external switching command
will be ignored.
Power supply error
is at the specified level
(e.g.) insufficient voltage).
Pump is blocked
and/or dirt in the pump.
Electronics malfunction
Remedy
Change fuse.
Turn the FI safety switch on again.
Repair or replace the pump.
1. Turn the pump back on
by pressing the key.
2. Turn the pump back on
with the R100 or
by pressing the key
3. Turn on the pump
with ON/OFF switch
4. Turn on the pump
via the bus signal.*

Turn pump ON/OFF
several times.
Disassemble motor for deblocking:
Close slide valve in front of and
behind the pump.
Release 4 socket head screws.
Warning:
Hot water can run out.
Remove motor
Turn impeller until shaft
turns smoothly.
Refit motor and open slide valve.
Remove the locking screw
and try to turn the rotor using a
screwdriver inserted into the notch
at the end of the shaft.
If necessary,
disassemble and clean the pump.
