2. Introduction
GENERAL
The drx 400dc receiver has been designed to control a d.c. Pan & Tilt Head or Surveillance Dome
and offers three latching auxiliary relay outputs plus one un-switched output which are used to
control: Wash, Wipe and Illuminator. Control of the lens functions is also provided with adjustable
6 to 12 Volt d.c. drives plus an adjustable inching facility. Stores up to 16 full preset positions with
8 alarm inputs and one N/C alarm output (with programmable delay).
A Camera power outlet is also available.
Telemetry data signals can be either "up the coax" or twisted pair 20 mA current loop
As standard the unit is pre-wired for 230Volt a.c. supply can be converted to 110 Volt operation.
A 24 Volt a.c. auxiliary output option is also available.
The drx 400dc receiver is normally supplied in an IP67 weatherproof enclosure and is designated
drx 400dc WBX. On installation it will be necessary to make suitable holes in this enclosure to
facilitate cable entry and exit. Adequately rated cable or flexible conduit glands should be used at
all times to avoid he possibility of water ingress.
The drx 400dc receiver can be used with the dtx 400pj single channel telemetry transmitter or any
of the following multi-channel telemetry transmitters, providing they are fitted with the optional
proportional joystick ( /jp )
dtx 1000/8, dtx 1000/16, dtx 1000/8AL, dtx 1000/16AL The slave keyboard dtx 1000K can also be
used providing it is fitted with the joystick option.
