Patrol Always
To start Patrol Always mode:
1. Programme DIP switches (see page 12)
2. Start patrol 1. on the keyboard, this safety feature stops the pan & tilt moving until the patrol
is manually started. However the pan & tilt may move at any time once the patrol has been
activated.( after power down etc.)
To stop patrol always mode:
1. Programme DIP switches (see page 12)
2. Stop the patrol from a keyboard by manually panning or tilting the pan & tilt
head.
PRESETS
When using the presets, ensure that the correct connection are made to the feedback
potentiometers. Pay particular attention to ensuring that the reference voltage is not connected
across one end of the potentiometer and the wiper as this may cause damage to the potentiometer.
Beyond connecting the correct wiper to each function input i.e. focus wiper to focus input etc. The
installer does dot have to worry about reversing the polarity/direction of travel. If, for instance, the
pan & tilt head has been installed inverted ,the receiver will compensate for this arrangement.
Before first requesting a goto preset instruction it is necessary to use the self test function.
To activate the self test function, switch DIP switch 1. ON then OFF
During the course of the self test the unit determines the feedback potentiometer connections for
itself. If the cabling/travel is reversed then the unit will reset the relevant direction bits within the
receiver. Subsequent searches to preset should now function correctly.
DO NOT PROGRAMME THE PRESET POSITIONS CLOSE TO END STOPS
If either lens or pan & tilt are preset at an end stop, this
action could result in intermittent preset operation
