CARRYING OF PASSENGER
Have yourself acquainted with operating method of the
motorcycle before carrying a passenger. Adjust the tire
pressure and the shock absorbers with reference to
relevant contents herein about tire pressure, carrying
capacity and shock absorbers.
The passenger must hold the driver firmly, or hold the
motorcycle firmly. He should not move suddenly on his
seat. When the motorcycle tilts when making a turn, the
passenger should tilt with the driver. The passenger
should always put his feet on the footrests, even in
waiting for the red traffic light.
To avoid burns, the driver should warn the passenger
not to touch the muffler, no matter whether he is on the
motorcycle.
Never exceed the maximum carrying capacity of the
motorcycle that is the total weight of the motorcycle body,
its accessories, the useful deadweight, the driver and the
passenger. Keep in mind in accessory selection that
similarly to the driver, accessories have weights too.
Extra accessories will lower the riding safety or even the
steering operation of the motorcycle.
Maximum carrying capacity: 240kg and the tire pressure
at room temperature is as follows:
Front wheel: 175kPa (1.75kgf/cm²)
Rear wheel: 225kPa (2.25kgf/cm²)
