WARNING
Removing your hands from the handlebars or feet
from the footrests during operation can be
hazardous, If you remove even one hand from the
motorcycle, you can reduce your ability to control
the motorcycle.
WARNING
Sudden side winds which can affect your control
can occur when being passed by larger vehicles,
at tunnel exits or in hilly areas.
After moving the side stand to the fully up position, pull
the clutch lever in and pause momentarily. Engage first
gear by depressing the gear shift lever downward. Twist
the throttle grip toward you and at the same time release
the clutch lever gently and smoothly. As the clutch
engages, the motorcycle will start moving forward. To
shift to the next higher gear, accelerate gently, then
close the throttle and pull the clutch lever in
simultaneously. Lift the gear shift lever upward to select
the next gear, release the clutch lever and open the
throttle again. Select higher gears in this manner until
top gear is reached.
WARNING
Before starting the motorcycle, make sure its side
stand is in the corresponding highest position
rather than any other position.

visibility clothes before riding.

Do not ride the motorcycle after drinking alcohol
or taking medication.
WARNING
Slow down when the road is slippery or the
visibility is poor.
CAUTION
If the first gear of the transmission is not used
when starting the motorcycle, the engine will be
damaged. Thus, it is necessary to start the
motorcycle with the first gear.
USING THE TRANSMISSION
The transmission is provided to keep the engine
operating smoothly in its normal operating speed range.
The gear ratios have been carefully chosen to meet the
characteristics of the engine. The rider should always
select the most suitable gear for the prevailing conditions.
Never slip the clutch to control road speed, but rather
downshift to allow the engine to run within its normal
operational range.
