AIR FILTER CHECK
- Turn the rear fixing (1) counter clockwise, remove it
and extract the saddle.
- Disconnect the battery cables (2) and (3) and remove
the battery (4).
- Lift the coolant expansion tank (5).
- Unscrew the screw (6) and remove cover (8) together
with filter (7).
- Check filter (7) condition; blow with compressed air
from the inside out to clean it. Replace if exceedingly
dirty.
WARNING*: the filtering element is
made of paper and is not washable.
- Reverse the removal procedure to reassemble, mak-
ing sure the contact surface the filter sits on is clean.
