18.Useful Advice
Users are advised to read the Instruction and Use Manual carefully so that the operator, in case of a
problem, will be able to give more precise information telephonically to Technical Assistence. Before carrying
out any maintenance operation on a refrigerated cabinet, ensure that the power supply has been
disconnected.
If the client notices an anomaly in the functioning of the cabinet , before panicking and contacting the
Assistance Service, it is essential that the following points are verified:
- Verify that the values of the temperature and humidity in the enviroment are not superior to those specified.
For this reason it is essential to maintain the air-conditioning, ventilation and heating systems working at the
maximum level in the outlet.
- Limit the speed of the air near the openings of the cabinets to 0.2m/s; in particular it is necessary to avoid
currents of air and delivery openings of the air-conditioning system being directed towards the cabinet
openings.
- Avoid solar radiation directly touching the displayed stock.
- Limit the temperature of the radiating surfaces present in the outlet, for example by isolating the ceilings.
- Do not use spotlights with incandescent bulbs directly pointing onto the cabinet.
- Make sure the air renewal and delivery openings of the cabinets are never obstructed (not even partially)
with stock, labels, accessories or anything else.
- Only place stock into the cabinet which is already cooled to the temperature which normally characterises
the cold chain.
- Verify that the cabinet is always able to maintain that temperature.
- Respect the load limit, avoiding overloading the cabinet.
- When loading the cabinet, make sure the stock introduced first is the stock to be sold first.
- Periodically keep an eye on the working temperature of the cabinet and that of the foodstuff displayed in it
(at least twice a day, including the weekends).
- In case of damage to the cabinet, immediately take all the measures to avoid the overheating of the
refrigerated foostuffs stored inside (reinsert them in the main cell, etc.).
- In case of a power cut, it is necessary to close the cabinet with night covers.
- If the power cut is planned, it is necessary to close the cabinet at least a couple of hours beforehand with
the night covers, planning the functioning at maximum level.
- Eliminate all minimum inconveniences found (loose crews, blown bulbs etc.).
- Periodically verify the functioning of the automatic defrosting of the cabinets (frequency, duration, air
temperature, restoration of normal functioning etc.).
- Verify the runoff of the water resulting from defrosting (free the drains, clean eventual filters, check the
siphons etc.).
- Check for anomalous condensation. If this occurs, alert the refrigeration technician immediately.
- Carry out all the preventative maintenance operations with absolute regularity.
- IN CASE OF GAS LEAK OR FIRE: Do not put your head in the room where the cabinet is positioned if this
is not suitably aired. Disconnect the cabinet using the appliance's general switch.
DO NOT USE WATER TO PUT OUT THE FLAMES BUT ONLY DRY CHEMICAL EXTINGUISHERS.
