- Do not position the cabinet:
- in places containing explosive gaseous substances;
- in the open air and, therefore, exposed to atmospheric agents;
- near sources of heat (direct sunlight, heating appliances, incandescent lights, etc.);
- near air currents (near doors, windows, air-conditioning systems, etc.) that should not exceed the speed
of 0.2 m/s.
- Remove the wooden supports on the base (used for transportation) and mount the adjustable feet (Rif. 2)
regulating them so as to position the cabinet horizontally; use a level (Rif. 1) to make sure of its positioning.
- After moving the cabinet, check leveling.
- Remove the wooden protections located on the cabinet top.
- Install the cabinet keeping a min. distance of 60 mm from any other surface.
- Before connecting the cabinet to the electric supply, make sure that all the data on the nameplate
corresponds to the characteristics of the electrical system to which it will be connected.
- In order for the cabinet to operate correctly, the temperature and the environmental relative humidity must
respect the parameters indicated in norm EN-ISO 23953 - 1/2 that provides a Climatic Class 3 (+25°C; R.H.
60%).
ATTENTION!: Install a maximum of 3 cabinets in line on the same power and refrigeration channel (1
Master + 2 Slaves).
Note: All these operation should be performed by specialized technical personnel only.
8. Electric connection (Fig. 11...Fig. 18)
- The cabinet must be protected upstream by means of a thermomagnetic omnipolar automatic switch, of
suitable characteristics, which also works as main knife switch in the line.
- The operator must know the switch position in order for it to be readily accessible in case of EMERGENCY.
- The electric system must be grounded.
- First of all, make sure that the power supply voltage is the same as that indicated on the nameplate.
- In order to guarantee regular operation, the maximum voltage variation must fall between +/-6% of the
nominal value.
- Make sure the supply line is wired with cables of adequate cross-section, and is protected against current
overload and grounded in conformity with the laws in effect.
- For power supply lines that are longer than 4 - 5 m, increase the cable section accordingly.
- In the event of a power failure, make sure that all the electric appliances in the shop can be re-started
without activating the over-current protections; if not, modify the system so as to differentiate start-up of the
various devices.
- The installer should provide the anchorage for all the cables entering and leaving the cabinet.
- The automatic magnetothermal switch must not open the circuit on neutral without also opening it on the
phases at the same time and, in any case, the opening distance of the contacts must be at least 3 mm.
Note: All these operation should be performed by specialized technical personnel only.

9. Temperature Control (Fig. 4)

The control of the refrigerating temperature is carried out using the mechanical thermometer placed on the
suction plate (Rif. 10) or using the Carel electronic controller (optional) (Rif. 9)

10.Loading the cabinet (Fig. 4)

For the restocking of the cabinet it is necessary to observe some important rules:
- The shelves can be height-adjusted with a 25mm pitch (Rif. 4);
- arrange the stock in a uniform and orderly way, avoiding overloading the shelves (Rif. 4);
- the arrangement of the stock, without empty spaces, guarantees the best functioning of the cabinet;
- leave about 30mm of air between the stock and the shelf that is immediately above;
- it is advisable to deplete the stock which has been in the cabinet for longer rather than that which is new
(foodstuffs rotation);
- The maximum load permitted on the shelves is 160 kg/m2 on the shelves and about 350 kg/ m2 in the basin;
- The shelves can be reclined in 2 positions 0°; -10° (Rif. 4)
Note: On request we can add a third tilt at -20°.
ATTENTION!: Do not load the roof of the cabinet with boxes, packages or anything else (Rif. 8).
