2.0 INSTALLATION
There are 3 washbasin versions:
• Recessed
• Semi-recessed
• ON TOP
Each washbasin will have its own specific position: for example, a washbasin designed to be semi-recessed cannot be installed as an
on-top version.
2.1 RECESSED
There are two ways of installing a recessed bowl:
Without a rebate
2.1.1 WITHOUT A REBATE
Advantages:
Countertop does not need to be machined beforehand.
Does not take much time.
Disadvantages:
If there is any slight variation between the bowl and countertop, the join between them will be more visible.
To avoid this, make a 15º or 30º chamfer cut to the edge of the bowl.
1) Place the KRION™ sheet face down on a working surface.
2) Using a nail or screwdriver, mark the longest and shortest axes on the back
of the sheet.
3) Drill a hole with a core bit in the sheet that coincides with the centre of the
washbasin drain, cutting a Ø 30 mm hole to pass through the threaded bar.
