rrer (X) with the other; press and turn until
the pin (P) fits into the groove (R).
By revolving the handle of the stirrer while
the cutter is operating, you can achieve
more homogeneity of the finished product
and reduce the process time.
Due to the carefully studied shape of the
stirrer, it is possible to obtain optimum
mixtures and the product detaches from
the wall of the bowl.
For more information consult the characte-
ristics sheets and drawings that are in the
last pages.

MAINTENANCE
Before cleaning, servicing or repairing
the appliance, it is necessary to unplug it
from the mains.
Changing the blade unit (H)
WARNING: The blades (K) are very sharp
and need to be handled carefully.
1. Make sure the machine is off and
unplugged.
2. Remove the blade unit (H), taking care
not to touch the blades (K) with your
hands, since they are very sharp.
3. Introduce the desired blade unit (H) and
verify that if fits perfectly onto the spin-
dle. If the lower blade (K1) rubs against
the bottom of the bowl, adjust the
height of blade (K1) by means of the
screw at the top of the blade unit (H).
For optimum results, the blades (K) must
always be sharp-edged.
Stretching and changing the belt
Check the belt condition periodically (at
least once a year). For this purpose, open
the lower cover of the motor unit (J).
If the belt is damaged, change it. To do so:
· Back off the four screws from the motor
mounting, so as to be able to remove the
belt.
· Replace the worn belt by a new one.
· Stretch the belt by moving the motor
mounting (the belt tension must not be
excessive) and retighten the four screws
of the motor mounting.
If the belt is loose, undo the four screws
from the motor mounting and stretch the
belt as explained in the previous para-
graph.
Sundry remarks
In the event the power cord should get
damaged and have to be replaced, it must
be replaced by an authorised SAMMIC
repairer.
If you detect any anomaly, contact a SAM-
MIC approved assistance service without
delay.
CLEANING
Your machine must be cleaned each time
there is a change of products and/or at the
end of the workday.
1. Unplug the machine.
2. Remove the lid (F), blade unit (H) and
bowl (G).
WARNING: The blades (K) are very sharp
and need to be handled carefully.
3. Clean the entire surface and the disas-
sembled parts with a soapy wet sponge.
All the elements in contact with food
must be cleaned immediately after each
use, with a detergent suitable for use in
the food industry. Do not use abrasive
products nor dry detergents.
Rinse with plenty of hot water and disinfect
with a soft cloth impregnated in 90º ethyl
alcohol.
Do not wash the outside of the appliance
under a direct water jet. Use a damp cloth
and a usual detergent.
TROUBLESHOOTING
The machine does not start.
Check that:
· the machine is plugged and the mains is
live, with the correct voltage;
· the lid (F) has been lowered and the lever
(E) actuated.
The machine stops while working.
This may be due to:
· motor overheating and actuation of the
thermal protection. Switch the cutter SK
off and wait for a few mintures before res-
tarting it;
· overload; in this event reduce the quantity
of produt before restarting the appliance.
Food is not processed correctly.
· Carefully inspect the blades (K) to see if
they are in good working order.
· Check to see if the belt has slackened.
If the appliance produces metallic tinkling,
check whether the lower blade (K1) rubs
against the bottom of the bowl (G). If yes,
adjust this blade with the height regulating
screw (L).
