When the derope™ UP R is installed on the console for

Tractel
's tracpode,
1. Place the Tractel
the ground.
2. Adjust the legs of the Tractel
required height: please refer to the tracpode tripod
instruction manual.
3. Select the leg of the Tractel
has a return pulley at the top; withdraw the locking
pin from this leg.
4. Position the console docking hole opposite the
locking hole of the Tractel
IMPORTANT: Please pay attention to the assembly
direction: the halyard blocker must be directed toward
the top of the tracpode tripod (Fig. 9).
5. Insert the derope™ UP R console locking pin. This
locking pin fulfils two functions: locking the foot of
the tracpode tripod and docking the derope™ UP R
console onto this leg (Fig. 9, 5).
6. Lock-off the docking pin with the split-pin (Fig. 9, 6).
7. Totally unfold the 3 legs of the tracpode tripod.
8. Remove the ball screw located above the return
pulley at the top of the tracpode tripod (Fig. 10, 8).
9. Pass the derope™ halyard around the return pulley
(Fig. 10, 9).
10. Replace the ball screw in order to prevent the
halyard from escaping the return pulley (Fig. 10,
10).
11. Open the halyard clamp in the console (Fig. 9, 11).
12. Insert the halyard coming out of the derope™ device
into the halyard clamp on the console (Fig. 9, 12).

13. Throw the halyard downwards, making sure it does
not tangle, has no knots, is not rubbing against a
sharp edge and does reach the ground.
14. Close the halyard clamp in the console (Fig. 9, 14).
15. Check that there are no obstacles in the path of
evacuation or on the landing zone. Examples:
electrical wires, concrete reinforcer bars, glazed
area.
