4 Plug the AC cord into the device socket of the
Philips Lumea Comfort device.
5 Plug the adapter into an electrical outlet.
Your Philips Lumea Comfort is now ready to start.
Treating with Philips Lumea Comfort for
the first time
Use Philips Lumea Comfort only for its intended
purpose and as described in this user manual.
Make sure that your skin is shaved, clean, dry and
free of any powders, creams, antiperspirants or
deodorants.
1 Press the intensity button briefly. The green
intensity level 1 light turns on.
2 About 1 second later, the yellow READY light
turns on. The device is now ready to deliver a
first flash at the lowest intensity level.
3 If you wish to change the intensity level, press
the intensity button quickly and repeatedly to
increase the intensity level from 1 to 5 and from
5 directly back to 1, until you reach the desired
level. The green level lights indicate the level
selected (see section 'Intensity level' below).
4 Place the skin contact surface on the skin.
Make sure that the skin is spread evenly and
smoothly and the skin contact surface is in
full contact with the skin. Make sure that the
yellow READY light starts blinking slowly.
