Dry installation of the pump

• Place the pump horizontally on a stable surface.
• Ensure secure and stable positioning of the pump. If necessary, screw the stand to
the ground.
• Protect the pump from direct sunlight.
You can connect hoses or pipes on the suction side (inlet) and the pressure side (out-
let). Recommendation:
• Lengths up to 5 m: Use hoses with a diameter of 50 mm with the 50 mm hose con-
nectors.
• Lengths of more than 5 m: Use DN 75 or DN 100 pipes.
– To connect the pipes, one PVC transition sleeve each is required. PVC transition
sleeves are available in specialised shops.
– Screw the PVC transition sleeve with the seal onto the suction side or pressure
side.
– Glue the pipe to the PVC transition sleeve.

Connecting the switching power pack to the pump

NOTE
The pump will be destroyed, if water enters the plug connectors.
Never undo the union nuts on the plug connectors.

