Individual equipment may differ from the above specifications due to in part, but not
exclusively, to any one or more of the following; variations or changes in manufactured
components, installation location and conditions and local power grid supply conditions.

2.4 Duty Cycle

The rated duty cycle of a Plasma Cutting Power Source, is a statement of the
time it may be operated at its rated welding current output without exceeding the
temperature limits of the insulation of the component parts. To explain the 10
minute duty cycle period the following example is used. Suppose a Plasma
Cutting Power Source is designed to operate at a 30% duty cycle, 80 amperes at
23.2 volts. This means that it has been designed and built to provide the rated
amperage (80A) for 3 minutes, i.e. arc cutting time, out of every 10 minute period
(30% of 10 minutes is 3 minutes). During the other 7 minutes of the 10 minute
period the Plasma Cutting Power Source must idle and allowed to cool.
Duty cycle is percentage of 10 minutes that unit can weld at rated
load without overheating.
Exceeding duty cycle can damage unit and void warranty.
Plasma Arc Cutting (PAC): 35% Duty Cycle at 40 A

2.5 Transportation Methods

Electric Shock can kill.
DO NOT TOUCH live electric parts. Disconnect input power
conductors from de-energized supply line before moving the
welding power source.
Lift unit with handle on top of case. Use handcart or similar device of adequate
capacity. If using a fork lift vehicle, place secure unit on a proper skid before
transporting.
