CLEANING THE CARTRIDGE FILTER
The cartridge filter utilizes a polyester element able to ensure optimum water filtration capacity. The total
area of the filtration surface amounts to 7 square metres. The filter element can be washed periodically
to restore its normal efficiency.
When a new system is first started up, make a note
of the reading given by the pressure gauge on top
of the filter.
The filter element must be cleaned/replaced:
•
when the pressure indicated by the gauge
exceeds the value first recorded (newly installed
system) by 0.7 bar
•
whenever pressure reaches 2.0 bar, in any
circumstances .
Set the control panel switch to the "STOP"
position; failure to observe this general rule
can result in serious damage to the system and
invalidate the warranty.
Close the valve on the inlet side of the filter pump
(installed by the contractor).
Vent any excess pressure by opening the bleed
valve on the filter.
Remove the drain plug (5) at the bottom of the filter
housing and allow the water to run off.
