A2 INSTRUCTIONS FOR PERIODIC MAINTENANCE
A2.1 Periodic maintenance
A.2.1.1 Bravo
Every 3-4 days or when it is necessary, open the drain valve long enough to remove the dirt accumulated in
the filter. This allows to clean the filtering cartridge. It is possible to repeat several times. Monthly or when
signs of clogging are evident it is necessary to make a cartridge cleaning following the procedure described
below:
1)
Close the shut off valves upstream and downstream of the filter and possibly activate the by-pass
circuit.
2)
Open the bottom valve in order to drain water from the bowl.
3)
Open the bowl by means of the plastic key supplied
4)
Draw the cartridge out from the o-ring housing, remove the o-ring sealing and perform internal and
external cleaning of the cartridge with the aid of the hand brush supplied and hot water. Thoroughly clean the
sealing using a peace of blotting paper or a rag thoroughly rinsed with hot water, paying attention not to
damage the o-ring sealing. Thoroughly clean with a rag or blotting paper also the o- ring sealing housing
removing possible remaining.
5)
Thoroughly clean the interior of the bowl and of the head with a rag or blotting paper and hot water
paying particular attention to removing possible dirt accumulated on threading.
6)
Riassemble the filter.
A.2.1.2 MiniBravo
Every 3-4 days or when it is necessary, open the drain valve long enough to remove the dirt accumulated in
the filter. Follow the instruction below. It is possible to repeat several times.
A. In case the upper green knob of the
filter shows that the water enters from
the right (knob positioned on IN DX) turn
the knob shifting the entrance position on
the left.

B. Open the bottom drain valve
