1. Mode "WLAN access point" (factory setting)
Without additional WLAN equipment, up to 6 iPads can be connected to one microscope with
Stemi 305 cam body – in this mode, the microscope provides the WLAN (standard mode).
2. Mode "Connect to existing WLAN"
One or several microscopes with Stemi 305 cam body can be integrated in an existing WLAN –
in this mode, one iPad can "see" all microscopes simultaneously. Change-over between the
various microscope live images is easy and comfortable.
The Stemi 305 cam body with Wi-Fi may only be used if it is covered by a radio license for your
region. At present (state 06/2016) Stemi 305 cam bears a radio license for the following
regions: USA, Canada, European Economic Area (EEA) and Switzerland, Japan, China, Australia,
New Zealand, Colombia. In doubt, please contact your regional ZEISS representative
