8. Install the new impeller. Be sure to align the flat on
the impeller with the flat on the motor shaft. See
Figure 3.

9. While installing the impeller twist it in a clockwise
direction. See Figure 4.

Troubleshooting

PROBABLE CAUSE(S)
There are leaks in the
suction line
Water being pumped is more
than 10 feet below the pump
Pump was not properly primed
10. Reinstall the outer wearplate and O-Ring.
11. Reinstall the cover plate.
12. Reinstall the screws. Tighten the screws moderately
first and then snug them down.
TO REPLACE THE FUSE (Refer to Figure 5):
1. Gently pull the fuse holder apart and remove the old
fuse (See Step 1).
2. Push the new fuse firmly up into the fuse holder (See
Step 2).
3. Reassemble the fuse holder (See Step 3).

CORRECTIVE ACTION
Be certain all connections are air tight. Test the connections
by putting soap suds on them. If there is a leak, the soap
suds will be sucked into the loose fittings.
Move the pump closer to the water being pumped.
Refer to the steps for priming the pump, included in the
"Installation" section, on Page 3.
