Danger!
Risk of injury from bursting compressed-air hose
If unsuitable compressed-air hoses are used, excessive pressure can
damage them and cause them to burst.
→ Use only solvent-resistant, anti-static and technically sound hoses for
compressed air with resistance to continuous pressure of at least 10 bar,
leakage resistance of < 1 MOhm and a min. inside diameter of 9 mm
(see 14).
Danger!
Risk of injury from excessive material inlet pressure
Excessive material inlet pressure can cause the material hose and other
components that convey the material to burst.
→ Do not exceed the maximum material inlet pressure specified on the
spray gun.
Notice!
Damage due to contaminated compressed air
Use of contaminated compressed air can lead to
malfunctions.
→ Use clean compressed air. For example, through SATA filter 100
(# 148247) outside the spray booth or SATA filter 484 (# 92320) inside
the spray booth.
Before using observe/check the following points / to ensure safe operation
of the paint spray gun:
■ All screws [2-1], [2-2], [2-3], [2-4] and [2-5] are securely attached.
Tighten screws, if necessary.
■ Paint nozzle [2-2] tightened with a tightening torque of 12 Nm [7-5].
■ Locking screw [10-1] tightened.
■ Technically clean compressed air used.
