4. OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS

4.1. START AND OPERATION

1. The machine must be switched off. Check the condition and remove dust from the filters and other
machine parts.
2. Turn the Main switch „O/I" to position „ I " (located on the rear part of the right stand).
3. Check if the Emergency button is not lit up on the machine. If it is on, turn on the machine by pulling out this
button (fig. 4.1.A, pos.1). On machines with steam/gas heating, open the steam/gas supply valve first.
4. The display (2) will shortly read the software version and then the main menu:
1: Start ironing
2: Machine settings
By pressing „ J " key, on keyboard (3), you continue to select an ironing programme:
Choose the desired recipe number:

Choose the required programme number (0 – 20) by „ A ", „ E " keys and confirm by pressing „ I " key.
The display will ask:
Start ironing
( Y / N / Rev ) :
Press „ J " to turn on back stroke for several seconds.
To start the drive and heating in the operation mode, press „ I ". The display reads:
RXX XXX/XXX C XXXXX
XXXXXX X.Xm/min
The temperatures in the top line of the display are represented as „XXX/XXXC", i.e.real / programmed
temperature in °C. When the required temperature has been reached, you can start ironing. Check, if the
fabric withstands the ironing effect, and at what temperature.
5. Choose the way of inserting the linen
INSERTING THE LINEN WITH AUTOMATIC FEEDER
If the machine is ready for a laundry insert, the green button light, fig. 4.1.A, pos. 4 is on. Insert the linen
corners, fig. 4.1.B, pos.8 into clamps (7) so that the front linen border does not protrude rear clamp edge (7)
and at the same time move by linen the stud (1) in the direction of arrow. The jaws (2) will squeeze the linen.
Now, you can press the push-button (4). The clamps (7) will spread the linen with an assistance of moving
brushes and a pushing roller (5).

DO NOT PUT YOUR HANDS INTO THE CLAMP SLOTS (7) UNDER THE JAWS (2), UNDER THE PISTONS
(4) AND THE PUSH ROLLERS (5), AND UNDER THE ROLLER IRONING FOLDS.
IF THE GREEN BUTTON LIGHT IS OFF OR FLASHING (FIG. 4.1.A, POS. 4), DO NOT REACH AROUND
THE CLAMPS (FIG. 4.1.B, POS. 7).
