Hazards when getting in
CAUTION
Wheel lock not engaged when getting in or out
Falling, tipping over of the user due to user error
► Before the user gets in or out, always engage and check the wheel lock.
► Engage the wheel lock to prevent the rehab buggy from moving on uneven ground or during transfers (e.g.
into a car).
CAUTION
Improper use of foot support while getting in
Tipping over, falling due to user error
► The foot support must not be used for getting in or out.
► Fold up the foot support before the user gets in if necessary.
Hazards while driving
WARNING
Pushing too fast
Tipping over, falling of the user due to caster wheel wobble
► The swivelling front wheels may begin to wobble at higher speeds and lead to an abrupt stop, causing the
rehab buggy to tip over forwards.
► Therefore, push the rehab buggy only at normal walking speed or engage the swivel lock (see section "Use").
It is not permissible to let go of the push bar while pushing the buggy or to thrust it away from you.
WARNING
Unsupervised parking
Falling out, falling of the user due to neglect of the duty to supervise
► Never leave the user unattended, not even when the positioning belts or safety belts are secured and the
wheel locks are activated.
WARNING
Impermissible use
Tipping over, rolling over of the user due to failure to observe specifications
► Using a rehab buggy beyond normal conditions may be dangerous.
► Please note that this product is not suitable for jogging, running, skating, etc. (not Kimba Cross).
► Do not exceed the maximum load capacity (see the section "Technical data").
CAUTION
Incorrect centre of gravity
Tipping over, overturning due to incorrect centre of gravity
► When reaching for objects, the user must not lean too far out of the seat.
► Put the back support into neutral position (0–5°) before negotiating slopes and obstacles on slopes or ramps.
► Always provide support to the rear when negotiating slopes and obstacles on slopes or ramps.
► Hold the product tightly by the push handles with both hands when driving on inclines and downgrades. Oth­
erwise, the rehab buggy could tip over sideways when driving diagonally on a slope or roll away when driving
on downgrades.
► Never park the product on slopes with the user in the seat.
CAUTION
Improper loading
Tipping over, falling of the user due to centre of gravity shift
► Please note that any additional load may have a negative impact on the stability of the rehab buggy.
► Do not hang heavy bags or the like on the push bar.
