care".
4.

5.
Make sure that there is enough space in front of the appliance for the bag
to be vacuum packed.
6.
Connect the appliance via the power cord to the power supply (AC, 220-
240 V~, 50/60 Hz).

VACUUM PACKING IN BAGS
1.
Prepare the appliance as described in the section „Preparing the appliance
for operation".
2.
Ensure that sure that the seal in the appliance is clean. If foreign objects,
such as crumbs are on the seal, they must be removed, otherwise a vacuum
cannot be generated.
3.
Fill a bag with the food to be vacuum packed. For optimum results, the bag
should not be too full. Leave about 8 cm between the contents and the edge
of the bag.
4.
Place the open end of the bag in the middle of the vacuum packing cham-
ber. Ensure that you leave adequate space left and right. Do not press the
bag too firmly into the chamber, but rather far enough, until you notice
that the bag is touching the rear of the chamber. If the bag is not correctly
inserted, the appliance cannot vacuum pack properly, consequently ensure
that the bag is properly seated before proceeding.
5.
Firmly press the two catches on the right and left of the appliance down-
ward.
6.
Press the „Vac/Seal" button. The indicator light shows that the vacuum
packing process is underway.
