FITTING THE HANDLEBAR
Fastening and adjusting
the handlebar to the requi-
red height:
- Unfold the handlebar and fix
the lower part by tightening
the buttons (fig. 1).
- Adjust the handlebar to the
height required (fig. 2).
- Raise the top section of the
handlebar and fasten it by
tightening the butterfly nuts
(fig. 3).
GRASS BAG
Fastening the chute onto the
grass bag flap:
- Engage the chute in the
opening through the back of
the flap (fig. 4) and position it
(fig. 5).
- Press from the back to

motor would overheat and
risk serious damage.
The mobile plug on the exten-

than the one on your lawn-

it must be protected against
splashing water.

Before each use, check
Cable connection:
- Unwind the cable comple-
tely and lay it in loops on the
ground.
- Before connecting up the
extension, inspect it along
all its length and ensure its
sheath is undamaged (cuts,
cracks, ...).
WARNING! Never connect a
damaged cable to the mains.
A damaged cable can lead
to contact with live parts and
cause an electric shock.
- Connect the mobile plug on
the cable to the starter unit
and attach the snap hook to
the cable holder ring (fig. 7).
To fix a cable without a snap
hook, pass a loop through
the cable holder (fig. 8).
- Connect the cable to a
230V~ mains socket. Your
lawnmower has class II insu-
lation and can therefore be
connected to a non-earthed
socket.
Recommendation:
To connect your lawnmower,
you must use a power cir-
cuit protected by a residual
current device (RCD), with a
breaking current not excee-
ding 30 mA.
