ERROR CODES

Error codes appear when there is a problem with the camera.
Error codes displayed on the control panel will flash.

CARD
The card cover is
COVER
open.
OPEN
No card is insert-
ed, or the camera
NO CARD
cannot recognize
the card.
The number of
storable pictures
CARD
is 0 so no more
FULL
pictures can be
taken.
WRITE
Writing to the card
is prohibited.
PROTECT
You cannot
CARD
record, display or
erase images on
ERROR
the card.
The recorded
PICTURE
images cannot
be displayed on
ERROR
this camera.
Response
Insert a card and close
the cover.
Insert a card or insert the
card again.
Replace the card or erase
unwanted pictures.
To take pictures, remove
the write-protect sticker.
If the card is dirty, wipe it
with a clean tissue and
insert the card again.
Alternatively, format the
card. If this still does not
correct the problem, the
card cannot be used.
Use the image processing
software on your computer
to display the images. If this
is not successful, some of
the image files are dam-
aged.
