7 - 8
CLOSE LIMIT SWITCH input (normally closed contact), common=8. If the motor has internal
limit switches is enoug to make a bridge between the contact;
8 - 9
OPEN/CLOSE button input (contact normally open); for operating information see dip switch 2
functions (common=8);
8 - 10
PHOTOCELL or SAFETY DEVICES input (normally closed contact); if these trigger during the
closing phase, the gate stops and then completely reopens (common=8);
11 - 12
24 Vac power output (only for the photocell transmitter if used), common=12;
12 - 13
24 Vac auxiliary power output (power output to photocells or other devices), common=12;
14 - 15
AERIAL input for 433.92MHz built-in radio receiver, (earth=15, signal=14);
LOGIC ADJUSTMENTS
TRIMMER
T.C.A.
Automatic Closing Time adjustment: from approx. 5 to 120 seconds (see dip switch 1);
FR.
motor torque adjustment. The TRIMMER is set to provide sufficient thrust to work the
automatic system without exceeding the limits established by current standards.
N.B.:
turn the TRIMMER clockwise to increase adjustments; turn it anticlockwise to decrease.
Dip switches
1
on: after opening, the system automatically closes when the delay set on the T.C.A. trimmer
expires;
off: a command is required to close the system;
2
on: with automatic closing enabled, a sequence of open/close commands causes the system to
OPEN-CLOSE-OPEN-CLOSE etc.;
off: in the same conditions, the same command sequence causes the system to OPEN-STOP-
CLOSE-STOP-OPEN-STOP, (jog function)
3
on: "photocell test function" enabled (PHOTOTEST).
N.B.: The photocells transmitter must always be connected(term. 11-12), on this we have a
complete security system control (PHOTOTEST) without this connection, system would not work!;
off: in case photocells are not in use set DIP3 in OFF position;
4
on: to be used when central motors have stand-alone limit switches (not to be wired to the control unit);
Adjustement procedure:
•
Set the shutter at half waybetween open and closed.
•
Press the button Ap/Ch to let the motor start closing, (should the motor start opening, invert
motor wires on the terminal block: wire terminals 3 and 4).
•
Once opening is complete, press once again Ap/Ch to start opening.
•
Once opening is complete, press once again Ap/Ch to finish setup; (the opening time recorded will
be the set working time for gate operator).
•
Leave the DIP#4 in on!! Should you move to OFF and then back to ON, the setup procedure must
be repeated
off: to be used when central motors feature Closed limit switch (FCC) and Open limit switch (FCA)
wired to the control unit (wiring: 6-FCA, 7-FCC, 8-common with contacts normally closed). On this
case, the operation time is not adjustable but set fixed at 60secods.
USING THE BUILT-IN 433.92 MHz RECEIVER
The built-in 433.92MHz radio receiver works with Rolling Code TAU transmitters (K-SLIMRP, T-4RP).
•
To memorize a transmitter: Press briefly (1" approx.) the Prog button on the control unit, then press
the key in the transmitter. To add other transmitters repeat the procedures. This softvare is compatible
with the remote programming fuction through K-SLIMRP and T-4RP transmitters.
•
To erase all trasmitters codes: On the control unit, press and hold the button PROG for 5 or 6 seconds
then release; press and hold it once again for 5 or 6 seconds. The codes memory wil then result empty
and now you can proceed with the memorisation of other transmitters.
MALFUNCTIONS: POSSIBLE CAUSES AND SOLUTION
