INSTALLATION, ADJUSTMENT OF CABLE LENGTH AND LOAD CAPACITY
Installation
• Installing the spring balancers, adjusting the cable length and adjusting the load may only
ATTENTION !
be carried out by specially authorized and trained persons!
!
• Spring balancer versions with plastic housings may not be installed in the immediate vici-
nity of hot-air blowers.
• The suspension structure to which the spring balancers and their "anti-crash" safety
device (4) are to be fitted must be designed with a safety factor of at least 5 (i.e. 5 x [dead
weight of spring balancer + maximum permitted working load]).
1. Install the spring balancer using the safety suspension (2).
2. Make sure that the spring balancer cannot slip out of the safety suspension (2) ➝
tighten lock nut (2.02).
3. Fasten the "anti-crash" safety device (4) to the suspension structure, making sure that
• the range of movement of the spring balancer is not in any way restricted.
• the falling distance does not exceed 100 mm if the spring balancer drops down!
