6.3 Setting up and using the
multi-purpose ladder
1. Use as a stepladder:
Both crossbars [B] must stand securely and firmly
on the ground.
All safety joints [C] must be locked
('LOCKED' position).
2. Use as a single ladder:
Adjust multi-purpose ladder so that it can be used
as a single ladder.
The ladder must stand securely on the ground and
be leaning against a flat and secure surface.
All safety joints [C] must be locked
('LOCKED' position).
Secure single ladders before using, e.g. tie down to
ensure stability.
3. Use as a work platform:
Set up the multi-purpose ladder as a work platform
as shown.
Both crossbars [B] must stand securely and firmly
on the ground.
All safety joints [C] must be locked
('LOCKED' position).
Position the 2-part metal platform [D] in such a
way that it cannot be unintentionally moved.
4. Storage:
After use, the multi-purpose ladder can be folded
together for storage and transport.
All safety joints must be locked ('LOCKED' position).
