→ The stops will engage with slight resistance.

5) Slide the joint bar into the orthosis (see Fig. 9).
6) Pull the black strap first upwards and then downwards to position the bracket over the joint

4.2.2 Application

> Open all hook-and-loop closures on the orthosis.
> The patient is sitting on the front edge of a chair.
1) Hold the orthosis on both sides with the donning loops and pull it over the knee until the
patella cutout is centred on the patella (see Fig. 1 and see Fig. 2).
2) Fasten the wide hook-and-loop closure at the top (see Fig. 2, item 1).
3) Fasten the wide hook-and-loop closure at the bottom (see Fig. 2, item 2).
4) The two wide hook-and-loop closures at the rear may only be adjusted and fastened by quali­
fied personnel (see Fig. 2, item 3 and item 4).
5) Fasten the lower front hook-and-loop closure (see Fig. 2, item 5).
6) Fasten the upper front hook-and-loop closure (see Fig. 2, item 6).
7) The two hook-and-loop closures at the rear may only be adjusted and fastened by qualified
personnel (see Fig. 2, item 7 and item 8, and see Fig. 3). Optional: For the corresponding
indication, fasten the hook-and-loop closures crosswise (see Fig. 4).

2) Centre the patella cutout over the patella.
3) Fasten the hook-and-loop closure below the patella cutout while applying tension. Make sure
that the hook-and-loop sections are placed over one another (see Fig. 6).
4) Fasten the hook-and-loop closure above the patella cutout while applying tension. Make sure
that the hook-and-loop sections are placed over one another (see Fig. 6).
5) Fasten the wide hook-and-loop closure at the top (see Fig. 7, item 1).
