Power sources
Recharge the batteries before using the unit.
Insert the two rechargeable batteries
(included) into the left hand earpiece
(L).
● Correctly align the + and - poles when inserting.
● Push down on the - pole spring when inserting.
● Remove the + poles fi rst when removing.
Push up on the indent to open the lid.
Close the compartment lid fi rmly after inserting the
batteries.
Connect
the
household mains socket using the
supplied AC adaptor.
● The adaptor is different for the UK.
Turn off the headphone's OPR switch
and place on the transmitter.
Place the headphone on the transmitter such that the
charging pins on the transmitter engage the charging
contacts on the bottom of the left-hand housing.
The OPR/CHG indicator goes green and charging
starts.
The indicator goes out when the batteries are fully
charged.
● Approximate recharging and operating time
To check the remaining battery strength:
The OPR indicator on the left hand earpiece (L) dims or
fails to light when the batteries are weak. Recharge the
batteries.
Service life of the batteries:
If the OPR indicator on the left hand earpiece (L) dims
or fails to light even after recharging the batteries, they
have come to the end of their serviceable life and need
to be replaced.
2 Nickel-metal hydride rechargeable batteries (Part no.:
HHR-4AGE/2B).
The batteries can be recharged about 500 times. They
need to be replaced when operating time dramatically
shortens even after recharging.
For your reference:
Dry cell batteries (R03/LR03, AAA) can be also used to
power the headphones.
Do not attempt to recharge them.
