The battery is OK and can receive electricity.
Good & Recharge
The battery is OK but needs to be recharged.
Recharge & retest
Battery is discharged, the battery condition cannot be determined until it is fully
charged. Recharge the battery & test it again.
Bad & Replace
The battery will not hold a charge. It should be replaced immediately.
Cell devective
The battery has at least one cell short circuit. It should be replaced immediately.
Load Error
The capacity of the tested battery is larger than 2000 CCA or 200 Ah or the
terminals are not correctly connected. Please charge the battery completely and
test it again after both options could be excluded. If the same test result is shown,
replace the battery immediately.
Press the ◄ ► key to select wether the result is to be printed: Yes or No. Confirm
with Enter.
* Printing the 24 V system test: The printer will not print the result of the 24 Volt
batteries system test. The 24 V system test result will be recorded till you hook up
to a 12 V battery. Then the screen on the left shows up. Select Yes and press the
Enter key to print the result. Then disconnect the terminals. The screen will appear
again after you reconnect the terminals. Select No and press the Enter key to
return to the main menu.
Press the Enter key to get to the initial battery test menu or remove the test termi-
nals from the battery to switch off the device.
Charging system test (example)
If you press Enter the adjacent screen appears.
Turn off all vehicle accessory loads such as light, air conditioning, radio, etc.
before starting the engine.
When the engine is started, one of the following results will be displayed along
with the relevant reading.
