a device is not used if it is defective;

no unauthorised changes are made to the device;
|
the specifications (see Specifications, page 87) and operating
|
conditions (see Chapter 4, page 37) are adhered to;
modifications and servicing on the device are only carried out by
|
employees from the manufacturer or by personnel authorised by the
manufacturer;
maintenance work is performed on a regular basis;
|
the instruction manual and, in particular, safety instructions are read
|
and understood by persons commissioned to perform tasks.
the device is commissioned in accordance with the instruction manual;
|
the instruction manual is available during Transport, assembly,
|
installation, commissioning and initial maintenance;
the instruction manual is kept in the immediate vicinity of the device;
|
the grid characteristics are set correctly, in accordance with location-
|
specific requirements (see Chapter 6.2.3, page 72);
changes to the grid characteristics are discussed with the energy
|
supplier in question. Unauthorised changes to the settings may lead to
malfunctions, losses in yield or to loss of feed-in approval;
the electrical operating areas are labelled with the instruction sticker
|
"Ear protectors must be worn";
all calculations required by the BDEW (German Federal Association of
|
the Energy and Water Industries) directive "Generation systems on
medium voltage grids" (last revised June 2008) have been performed
on the photovoltaic system. The scope and level of detail are to be
agreed with the respective grid operator or energy supply company
before installation of the photovoltaic system at the grid node;
the device is only operated in Isolé Terre (IT) grids. Please note:

An IT grid is an unearthed grid.

In the event of an earth fault, the IT grid is earthed.
|
The reliability of the IT grid must be monitored with insulation and
|
earth fault monitoring.
