If the pump is stored in conditions outside the "Operating" ranges, allow time for its temperature to stabilise
to normal before use.

One of the effects of prolonged exposure to high temperatures is to increase the self-discharge of the internal
battery; this will reduce the duration of power fail alarms. The pump will fully charge the battery over a 24-
hour period when the pump is connected to a mains power supply.
