Connection nipple (nose piece size G
•
Connect the air-driven pump or oil injector to
the workpiece. The connection can be made
directly or via a lexible pressure hose
(for THAP 030E and THAP 150E), or high
pressure pipe (for THAP 300E and THAP 400E).
Remove the G 3/4 nose piece (4) to enable
connection of a high-pressure pipe or lexible
pressure hose.
•
THAP 030E and 150E: Fit a G
adapter nipple (228027 E), with a maximum
tightening torque of 130 Nm (96 lbf–ft).
Connect the lexible pressure hose (729834)
to the adapter nipple. The lexible pressure
hose can be connected to the application using
an appropriate quick connector coupling and
nipple.

THAP 300E and THAP 400E:
Fit a high pressure pipe with a G
(e.g. 227957 A/400MP) to the hydraulic outlet
block. The maximum tightening torque is
130 Nm (96 lbf–ft). Fit the protection device.
Connect the free end to the application.
•
Close the air valve (6) and connect the air hose
to the air connection (1).
•
Connect the hoses to the oil inlet (2) and the oil
return (3).
•
Put the free ends of the oil hoses into the oil
container. Make sure that the end of the oil
suction hose is completely immersed in the oil.
•
Make sure that the release valve (5) is open.
Open the air valve (6) to start the THAP...E
Operate the THAP..E until no air bubbles can be
