Cleaning the pump
If the pump is clogged due to foreign particles, it
must be cleaned. To pull out the pump parts, you
require pointed pliers with a maximum of 5 mm-wide
jaws.
Remove the mains power cable connector (Fig. A,
12) from the socket (Fig. A, 13) on the base plate.
Fold up the cover (Fig. A, 2).
Grip the filter holder next to the filter housing
using both hands.
Carefully pull the filter holder upwards off the edge
of the tank.
Pull the pump downwards off the filter housing
(Fig. C).
Pull the pump cover (Fig. B, 5) off from the pump
housing at the lug (Fig. B, 14).
Pull the pump impeller cover (Fig. B, 16) off from
the pump housing at the lug.
Pull the pump impeller (Fig. B, 15) out of the pump
housing using a pair of pliers.
Clean the removed pump parts using clean water.
Press the pump impeller back into the pump
housing.
Place the cover (Fig. B, 16) onto the pump housing.
Place the pump cover (Fig. B, 15) onto the pump
housing.
Carefully press the pump cover on until it engages
audibly.
Press the pump into the mounting on the filter
housing as shown in Figure C.
Place the filter holder onto the upper edge of the
tank.
With both hands next to the filter housing,
carefully press the filter holder on until the filter
holder audibly engages.
Close the cover.
Insert the mains power cable connector (Fig. A, 12)
to stop into the socket (Fig. A, 13) in the base
plate.

Empty the aquarium.
Clean the tank with clean water.
Allow all parts of the aquarium to dry in the air.
Package the aquarium so that it is protected
against jolts and moisture.
Store the aquarium in a dry room.
