Connection and usage
DANGER
Fatal injury due to electric shock.
When installing electrical accessories, make
sure that the cables are not damaged.
Check the cables for cuts or notches.
Do not operate the aquarium if cables are
damaged.
ATTENTION!
Damage to the pump due to running dry.
The pump runs as soon as the aquarium is
connected to the mains power supply.
Make sure that the pump never runs dry.
Only connect the aquarium to the mains
power supply when the following conditions
are met:
The pump must be installed in the tank and
The tank must be filled with water above the
pump.
Make sure that the tank is filled to at least above
the pump.
Insert the mains power cable connector into the
socket on the base plate.
To prevent water from splashing out, make sure
that the splash water protection (Fig. A, 9) is
installed as shown in the figure and close the
cover.
Make sure that the mains power cable sags before
reaching the mains socket.
The lowest point of the cable must lie below the
mains socket. This prevents any water which drips off
the cable from entering the mains socket.
Insert the mains plug into a suitable socket.
The pump starts up audibly. The water is pumped
through the filter insert and falls back into the tank
from the filter housing.
English translation of the German operating instructions
To switch on the illumination in the cover, set the
illumination switch to the "On" position (I).
To switch off the illumination in the cover, set the
illumination switch to the "Off" position (0).
The pump runs as soon as the aquarium is connected
to the mains power supply.
To switch the aquarium off completely, remove the
mains plug from the mains socket.
The aquarium is suitable for a small ornamental fish
(goldfish or betta).
Place the fish into the switched-on aquarium.
Changing the filter insert
DANGER

Disconnect the aquarium from the mains
power supply before cleaning or maintaining
the aquarium.
Never reach into the water when the
aquarium is connected to the mains power
supply.
CAUTION
Cuts due to shards of glass.
Make sure not to break the tank.
If the tank breaks, remove the shards of
glass carefully.
To obtain a water quality which is optimal for fishes,
you should exchange the filter insert every three to
four weeks.
