WARNING :
It is important that the entire length of the connection plate should lie on a flat slab. Using a slab that is too short or failing to use a slab at all
could render the installation unsatisfactory or could cause the pool to collapse. (fig 9)
The connecting plates should in no case be fixed to the ground. Connect the lower rails: (fig 9)
■ to the connecting plate ref 2268 for the rounded parts;
■ to the rail guides ref 3233/3234 for the straight parts.
■ At the rounded parts, slide the rails into the connecting plates,
leaving a space of approximately 1cm between the
sections at the centre of the connecting plate.

11 - Installation of Wall

WARNING
:
Improperly assembled sheet metal can cause the pool to sag. Do not attempt to install the sheet metal in windy conditions.
N.B. For certain large dimension pools, the walls are made of two half-walls in order to facilitate their handling (for some models, the weight
of the walls can exceed 100kg). This does not alter the method for installing the wall.
To enter and leave the pool during installation work, use the ladder. Remove the wall from the box and place it on the box or on a plank to make it easier
to unroll. Make sure that the cut-out for the skimmer is positioned at the top of the sheet metal, with the opening placed facing the dominant wind so that
the wind drives impurities into the skimmer (fig 10). You are also recommended to position the sheet metal so that the cut-outs for the skimmer and the
outlet are on a rounded section of the pool, and not on a straight section. Start to unwind the sheet metal and position it in the groove of the section, and
proceed until the sheet metal has been completely unreeled.
Start at the middle of a connecting plate, so that the securing bolts are concealed by an upright bar.
Connect the ends of the sheet metal, using bolts and washers.
The bolt heads should be at the interior of the pool, and the nuts should be screwed-on from the exterior of the pool.
Make sure that you use all the bolt holes. It is very important to securely tighten the bolts so as to obtain a robust join.
To protect the liner, affix a protective strip of adhesive tape on the bolt and associated hardware on the interior of the pool.
If the wall is too long or too short, adjust it by means of spaces left open at the connecting plates.
IMPORTANT
! Increase the robustness and rigidity of the sheet metal by temporarily fitting the upper metal sections (rounded part)
progressively as you work. (fig 11)
Attach the supports of the cover pieces to the posts of the round sections.
At the bottom, secure the posts to their connecting plate, using 2 bolts; at the top, secure the posts to their connecting plate, 2 tightened bolt.
Fold the connecting plates (rounded part) and upper plates (straight part) over the rails. It is important to infill (with a layer of fine sand) around the base
on the interior of the pool, particularly along the side of the pool. It prevents the liner from sliding under the sheet metal, and protects it from the salient
parts of the structure of the pool that might puncture it (in particular, the pressure plates should be completely covered). A depth of 8 to 10 cm of sand
will be required.
A bank of 8 to 10cm should be built (a mound of fine sand) around the base inside the pool, particularly along the sides of the pool, and the whole
surface of the pool should be covered with a 2cm layer of sand.
The sand prevents the liner from slipping under the metal sheeting and protects it from protruding parts of the structure of the pool, which could pierce it
(the pressure plates as well as the bolts of the straps in particular, should be completely covered).
Once the floor has been prepared thus, cover it with a rot-proof felt mat rising 10 to 12cm up the wall. Stick the mat to the wall with double-sided
adhesive tape.
The mat prevents the appearance of fungi under the liner.
Before assembly of the side panel, make the skimmer and return pipe cut-outs with steel cutters. File the cut edges smooth.
Apply a rustproofing product to the cut edges.
Wall
N.B. For walls made of two half-walls, only make the
cut-outs on one half-wall and stick a protective strip
(adhesive tape) on the unused cut-outs inside the pool
to protect the liner.
12 - Installation of Liner (Installation work should be done bare-footed)
WARNING: This is a delicate operation, and should be done with a great deal of care. It is recommended that you install the liner while the
outside temperature is between 15°C and 25°C.
REMINDER: to enter and leave the pool during installation work, use the ladder
Unfold the liner within the pool. The side with the smooth seals is the inside of the liner.
