7 - TL stands for Tubeless.
WARNING: Mounting tyres on rims which have a different value diameter is absolutely forbidden, as is mounting
tyres with dimensions different from those stated by the vehicle's manufacturer in the registration papers.
CHECK THAT:
- there are no defects in the tyre and the cords are not damaged (check visually and by feeling the tyre).
If defects are found, DO NOT mount the tyre
- the rim is not dented and/or misshapen.
N.B.: on alloy rims in particular, dents often cause tiny internal fractures, not visible to the naked eye, which may reduce the rim's solidity
and also be hazardous during inflation.
- The TWI (Tread Wear Indicator) does not indicate that the tread is excessively worn.
- The tyre is not at a temperature of less than 15°C: a lower temperature might lead
to damage during mounting or demounting operations.
VALVE POSITION
The illustration shows a rim fitted on the chuck, showing the positions of the hours
as if on a clock.
In the various operating stages described below, when the valve position is
mentioned, reference is ALWAYS made to these positions.
WARNING: To avoid the risk of damage to the pressure
sensor (if installed), the valve must ALWAYS be set in the
position shown.
LASER POINTER
The TCX3000 is fitted with a laser pointer (Fig. H/4), which indicates the position
of the tools in relation to the wheel by means of a beam of light, thus speeding up
positioning and allowing extremely accurate, safe operation.
A "standard wheel" is a car wheel with steel or alloy rim, centre hole, well on the outside and conventional (not Run Flat or low
profile) tyre.

WHEEL CLAMPING

1- Perform all the preliminary checks.
2- Remove any clip-on weights with an appropriate tool, taking care not to damage the rim.
