7.2.2 Common Troubleshooting
Device failed to start or keep rebooting can cause:
1、 DVR upgrade errors caused by system software are corrupted.
2、 DVR boards fault, contact the vendor maintenance.
3、 A hard disk malfunction, replace the hard disk.
PTZ control
Possible causes:
1、 RS-485 interface cable connections are not correct, reverse A\B port.
2、 PTZ decoder types, Protocol, baud rate, address bit is not set correctly.
3、 RS-485 interface cable is not correct, reverse A\B port.
4、 RS-485 interface board bad.
DVR video corruption may cause the preview image:
Video input formats do not match, if the camera is NTSC format, DVR use PAL format,
preview images take screen appears.
DVR video playback image corruption or not query
Possible causes:
1、 The program reads an error, try to restart the DVR.
2、 Hard disk error occurred because of bad road, clusters of data, check the hard drive, if
your hard disk is damaged, please replace the hard drive.

3、 Please check the IP conflict exists in the network.
Download or backup videos not playing properly
Possible causes:

2、 Backup USB flash drive or portable hard drive file system error.
3、 Has no installing DX8.1 above graphics accelerator.
