NOTE:
If you start the machine with the buttonhole lever not
lowered, the buttonhole lever sign blinks after sewing
several stitches.

v Insert the corner of the fabric under the foot.
Press the needle up/down position button twice.
Remove the fabric to the left to draw the needle
thread through the hole of the foot.
Place the garment under the foot, and lower the
needle at the starting point of the buttonhole
mark.
Then lower the automatic buttonhole foot R.

NOTE:
Make sure there is no gap between the slider and
stopper, otherwise the left and right lengths will be
different.

b Start the machine to sew the buttonhole.
The buttonhole is sewn in the sequence as shown.
When the buttonhole is finished, the machine will
stop automatically with the needle in the up position.
To sew another buttonhole, raise the presser foot. Move
the fabric to where the next buttonhole is to be sewn,
then lower the foot and start the machine.
n When buttonhole sewing is finished, push the
buttonhole lever upward as far as it will go.

m Remove the fabric and place a pin just below the
bartack at each end to prevent accidentally
cutting stitches. Cut the opening with the seam
ripper. Use an eyelet punch to open a keyhole
buttonhole.
