2.2 Safety components

• If the customer leaves the treatment area of the appliance
during a treatment (except in the treatment programmes
<Drying> and <Highlights>), the temperature sensor will
adjust the heating level upwards and switch off the hea-
ting after approx. 2-3 minutes.

2.3 Symbols used in these Operating Instructions

Important information is indicated by the use of symbols and
signal words in these Operating Instructions and on the
appliance.
Signal words such as DANGER, WARNING or CAUTION show
the severity of the hazard. The different triangle symbols
emphasise these visually.
DANGER indicates an immediate hazard, which, if not
avoided, will cause death or serious injury.
WARNING indicates a potential hazard, which, if not avoided,
may cause death or serious injury.
CAUTION indicates a potential hazard, which, if not avoided,
will cause minor or slight injury.
NOTICE indicates a potential hazard, which, if not avoided,
will cause damage to property.
NOTE gives you additional information and helpful tips for
the safe and efficient use of the appliance.
