2 Your safety is important to us
• This appliance may only be used for the intended
purpose specified in these Operating Instructions
(see "section 2.1" page 49).
• Only accessories approved by the manufacturer
should be used.
Sudden release of spring arm (only wall-mounted
version):
• The spring arm of the wall-mounted version
contains a powerful spring. When the appliance is
dismantled, the spring arm is suddenly released
upwards and may cause serious injury.
• The appliance may only be mounted / dismantled
by a specialist (electrician, technical expert) or
staff with a comparable qualification according to
the valid instructions.
Sudden drop of wall arm (only wall-mounted
version):
• Do not place any additional loads on the wall arm

WARNING
In case of damage / restrictions in function
This appliance may not be used under any
circumstances if:
• the mains cable a or the plug b is damaged,
• it is not functioning properly,
• it has been dropped or damaged,
• it has fallen into water,
• liquid or foreign bodies have got inside the
appliance.
The appliance must be inspected and repaired by a
Wella-authorised Customer Service Centre in each
of the above cases.
