1 Safety

Do not use the hairdryer to dry any other part of the body, or
animals or objects.
Important information about dangers
DANGER:
Danger of electric shock!
• Never put the hairdryer down in such a way that
it could fall into water while connected to the
mains.
• Do not use this appliance near bath tubs, showers, wash
basins or other containers filled with water.
• Keep the appliance and its cord away from moisture, water
and other liquids, and do not operate it with wet hands.
• Do not immerse the appliance, mains plug or cord in water
or rinse them off under running water.
• If the appliance falls into water, pull out the mains plug
before taking it out of the water. The appliance may not be
used after such an occurence.
• When the appliance is used in a bathroom, unplug it after
use since the proximity of water presents a hazard even
when the appliance is switched off.
• Additional protection is afforded by installing a residual
current device with a rated tripping current of less than 30
mA in your home electrical system. We recommend you get
an electrician to install a residual current protection system
to protect the circuits.
