Chapter 2 - Equipment description
Brief instructions
1. In order to be able to use the Robo Scooter 500, you need to
make a one-off installation by running a thin wire, called the limit-
ing wire, round the edge of the lawn and all the areas where the
mower is not going to work.
2. The lawn pegs that are supplied with the Robo Scooter 500 are
used to fix the limiting wire directly on the ground under the lawn
edge; the wire will soon be overgrown with grass after using the
Robo Scooter 500 for a short period, and soon becomes invisible.
3. The charging station is installed along the limiting wire and has
two main functions:
–
to generate the wire signal (very low current strength);
–
to charge the Robo Scooter 500.
4. After the one-off installation, a test of the wire routing and the
charging station is carried out. You now only need to enter a
weekly programme and you can forget mowing the lawn for the
entire season!
