Connecting the Switcher

Use the optional PC-1271/1271M Signal Interface
Switcher for connecting various video equipment. The
input is selected by pressing the SWITCHER/INDEX/
LENS keys on the Remote Commander.
For details on designating the input from the switcher, see
pages 13 (EN) and 14 (EN).
Notes
• When you designate the input from the switcher, be
sure to set the SWITCHER/INDEX/LENS selector to
the SWITCHER position.
• Be sure to designate the SINGLE/SECOND/OTHER
switch correctly.
• Set the INPUT-A item in the SET SETTINFG menu
depending on the type of external equipment
connected to the INPUT A connectors on the
projector.

• When connecting the external equipment to the
VIDEO or S VIDEO connectors, designate the input
between VIDEO and S VIDEO connectors.
For details on designating the input between VIDEO and S
VIDEO connectors, see page 19 (EN).
• When connecting the projector to the PC-1271/
1271M Signal Interface Switcher, you sometimes
cannot perform a proper input selection using
"SWITCHER" in the INPUT SELECT menu. In this
case, designate the input channel using the
SWITCHER/INDEX/LENS keys on the Remote
Commander or the SELECT key on the switcher.
• When the remote control detector is exposed to the
light from the fluorescent lamp, you sometimes
cannot perform a proper input selection. In this case,
change the setting of "SIRCS RECEIVER" in the
SET SETTING menu. Press and hold the
SWITCHER/INDEX/LENS key on the Remote
Commander or the SELECT key on the switcher for
more than two seconds to designate the input
channel.
