Problem
The appliance
did not work
properly before
I stored it, but
it now works
properly again.
26
Possible cause
The active protection
system has been
activated because the
brushes are too wet.
The mopping brushes
automatically stopped
rotating because they
encountered a too
heavy resistance.
The mopping nozzle
lid is not closed
properly.The sound
of the appliance
decreases and the
appliance no longer
applies water to the
floor because the
mopping brushes do
not rotate and the
appliance does not
mop up anything.
The active protection
system was activated
because the appliance
picked up a foreign
object other than dirt
or liquid. Then you
stored the appliance
for more than 30
minutes and it reset
itself.
Solution
Release the power-on button to switch off the appliance.
Put the appliance upright in parking position ('click')
and pull the plug out of the wall socket. Remove
the mopping brushes from the mopping nozzle and
remove excess water from the mopping brushes by
squeezing them over a sink (see chapter 'Cleaning and
maintenance', section 'Cleaning the mopping nozzle').
Then you can reinsert the mopping brushes, reinsert the
mopping brush cover, close the mopping nozzle lid, put
the plug in the wall socket and switch on the appliance
again (see chapter 'Cleaning and maintenance', section
'Reassembling the mopping nozzle'). If this does not
work, let the mopping brushes dry (see chapter 'Cleaning
and maintenance', section 'Cleaning the mopping nozzle').
Make sure the mopping brushes and the mopping brush
cover are assembled correctly. Close the mopping nozzle
lid properly. Make sure you press the lid until it locks with
a click (see chapter 'Cleaning and maintenance', section
'Reassembling the mopping nozzle').
You need to remove the object that caused the appliance
to work less well and reset the appliance. To do so,
follow the next steps. Put the appliance upright in parking
position('click') and pull the plug out of the wall socket.
Open the mopping nozzle lid, remove the mopping brush
cover and remove the object. Reinsert the mopping brush
cover, close the mopping nozzle lid, put the plug in the
wall socket and switch on the appliance again (see chapter
'Using your AquaTrio', section 'Active protection system
is activated'). If you find no object, the active protection
system may have been activated because the mopping
brushes are too wet (see second cause of previous
problem) or because you moved the appliance over a
carpet. Pull the plug out of the wall socket, open and close
the mopping nozzle lid, put the plug in the wall socket
again, switch on the appliance and start cleaning again.
