Contraindications
There are no contraindications
associated with the use of Joey.
All precautions are taken at the
discretion of the prescribing
clinician or parent.
Daytot recommends that a trained
and experienced clinician is
present during initial assessments,
set-ups and when the product is
reissued, to minimise risk.
Therapists should use the
precautions & contraindications list
as a guide. Where the prescribing
therapist feels that an infant is
suitable, we ask that they do a risk
assessment and proceed based
on their clinical expertise.
