SAFETY GUIDELINES
-
This patio heater is only suitable for outdoor use (see schematic representations of
suitable rooms later in the manual).

This patio heater should not be used on recreational vehicles and/or boats.

Do not use the patio heater for domestic premises
-
Do not use the heater in the basement or below ground level.
-
Gas heaters without atmospheric sensor may only be used for heating well
ventilated buildings used for animal breeding or for outdoor use.
-
The installation must comply with the applicable government regulations.
-
Installation and repair must be carried out by a qualified service technician.
-
Improper installation, adjustment, or modification may result in personal injury or
property damage.
-
Do not attempt to modify the unit in any way.
-
Never replace or substitute the regulator with any regulator other than the factory-
suggested replacement.
-
Remove the transit protection before use.
-
Do not store or use gasoline or other flammable fumes or liquids in the heating
unit.
-
The entire gas system, hose, regulator, pilot light, or burner should be inspected
for leakage or damage by qualified service personnel at least once a year prior to
use.

The recommended frequency for hose or flexible hose inspection is at least once
per month and each time the cylinder is replaced. If the hose shows signs of
cracks, splits, or other damage, it should be replaced with a new hose of equal
length and quality.

Hose should be replaced within the prescribed intervals.

All leak tests should be performed with a soap solution. Never use an open flame
to check for leaks.

Do not operate heater until all connections have been tested for leakage.

Turn off the gas valve immediately if a smell of gas is detected.

Do not transport the patio heater while it is in operation.
-
Do not move the patio heater until it has cooled down again.
-
Keep the ventilation opening of the cylinder housing free of dirt and obstructions.

Do not paint the radiator grille, control panel, or top canopy reflector.
-
The heater control compartment, burner, and air circulation ducts should be kept
clean at all times. The housing must be cleaned regularly.

Avoid inhaling fumes emitted from the heater's first use.

The hose assembly must be located out of pathways where people may trip over
it or in area where the hose will not be subjected to accidental damage.

Avoid twisting the flexible tubes and hoses.
-
Any guard or other protective device removed for servicing the heater must be
replaced before operating the heater.

Adults and children should stay away from high temperature surfaces to avoid
burns or clothing ignition.
-
Children should be carefully supervised when they are in the area of the heater.
