5. USE OF THE GENERATOR
Grounding
To avoid electric shock from faulty equipment, the generator must
be grounded. Connect a suitable cable between the ground termi-
nal and the ground source. Generators have a grounding system
that connects the generator frame components to the grounding
terminals on the AC output receptacles. The grounding system is
not connected to the AC neutral conductor. If the generator is tested
with a multimeter, it will indicate the same ground circuit condition
as the building outlet.
DANGER: Electrocution hazard. Failure to connect the generator to a ground may cause shock and
electrocution
Wattage of Electrical Devices
Reference data of the rating wattage and (the way to calculate) the starting wattage of the electric
appliances connecting to the generator.
Overload protection
The generator will automatically shut down due to overload. If the overload button is up, it is off and there
is no electricity, press the button after a few minutes and the electric flow will resume.

WARNING: Electric motors require more than the marked voltage to start. Be sure not to exceed the
output rating of the generator when connected to a load.
Connecting Sequence
If there are two or more loads needing power supply from the generator, be sure to connect them one by
one with the one of highest start current first, followed by the 2nd highest, until the lowest
