DANGER:
Carbon monoxide. Using the machine inside a closed or partially unventilated enclosure CAN KILL YOU
WITHIN MINUTES. Flue gases contain carbon monoxide, a colourless, odourless, but lethal gas.
- Do not use the unit in the rain or in damp or wet locations. DANGER OF ELECTROCUTION. The machine
produces high voltage, you may be electrocuted if used in wet conditions.
- Do not connect the unit to the electrical installation of a building.
WARNING:
Danger of fire and damage to equipment. Improper connection may damage the generator as well as
cause a fire.
- Keep any flammable products at least 1 metre away from the unit.
- Danger of fire or explosion. The machine produces heat when in operation. Working with it near
flammable products may cause them to overheat and cause fire.
- Smoking while refuelling is prohibited.
- Fire and/or explosion. Gasoline and its vapors are highly flammable and explosive under certain
conditions. Both gasoline and its vapors can be ignited by a cigarette butt, a spark, or by contact with a
hot surface, causing a fire or explosion.
- Avoid spilling fuel when refuelling.
- Stop the engine before refuelling.
- Use caution around hot objects and surfaces.
- Danger of burns. The exhaust pipe reaches high temperatures during and immediately after starting the
engine. Accidental contact with any hot surface such as the exhaust can cause serious burns.
- Keep children, people and animals away when the machine is running.
WARNING:
Risk of electric shock. The generator produces enough electrical energy to cause electric shock or
electrocution if proper precautions are not taken.
- Keep the generator dry. Use in wet conditions such as rain or snow or with wet hands may result in
electric shock.
- If the generator is left outdoors, unprotected from the weather, check all electrical components on the
control panel before each use.
- Do not connect the generator to a domestic mains supply unless a qualified electrician has installed a
suitable isolating switch.
WARNING:
Risk of fire and burns. The exhaust becomes very hot during operation and remains hot for a long time
after stopping the engine, which may cause fire or burns if you do not take appropriate safety measures.
- Keep the generator at least 1 metre away from buildings and other devices during operation.
- Keep flammable materials away from the generator.
- Gasoline is highly flammable and can become explosive under certain conditions. Do not smoke or bring
open flames or sparks near the area where you refuel the engine or store gasoline.
- Gasoline vapors are highly flammable and can ignite when the engine is started. Be sure to wipe up any
drips thoroughly before starting the generator.
