Before using your machine, add the required
amount of SAE 10W-30 oil.
Other oil viscosities (as shown in the table) may be
used when temperatures in your area are within
the range indicated.
ATTENTION: The generator comes from the
factory without oil.
1. Oil dipstick
Take out the oil filler cover and have the dipstick cleaned. Insert the dipstick into the oil filler hole without
screwing it. If the oil level is below the lower mark of the dipstick, add oil to its higher mark. Re-screw in
the oil filler cover/dipstick and fasten it securely.
Check fuel level
To the right of the cap is the generator fuel level.
Put the unit on a level surface and check the fuel level. Fill with fuel
up to the height of the filter. Replace the tank cap and close it well.
NOTE: The generator comes from the factory without fuel.
ATTENTION: If the fuel level is insufficient the generator will not start.
CAUTION: Do not add fuel to the top of the tank, leave room for it to expand. Failure to do so could
cause a fire or explosion.
CAUTION: Do not add petrol/oil mixture used for 2-stroke engines. Do not use old fuel. Do not allow
dirt to enter the fuel tank, such as dust, water, etc. Drain the fuel tank and carburettor if you are not going
to use it for a long period of time, as the fuel degrades and you may find it difficult to start the engine
later.
Use unleaded petrol with an octonage of 86 or higher.
The use of unleaded petrol is recommended because it produces less deposits on the engine and spark
